About Us

Founded by husband and wife Maxine and Al, devoted dog parents to Tilly, the toy poodle and Pip, the cavapoochon. The Doodle Den is a specialist retreat created with a true love for doodle breads. Built on trust, experience and a lifelong passion for dogs, what began as caring for friends’ and family pets has grown into a boutique hotel and social club in the heart of Broadstone.

With a focus on poodles and their wonderful crosses, we offer a tailored experience designed to suit their playful, intelligent and affectionate nature. Our services include a boutique hotel for cosy sleepovers, a fun enriching social club, mini spa treatments and carefully curated walks - all in small groups of no more than six dogs.

Every dog who stays with us is treated like family. They are never left alone and cared for as if they are our own, with plenty of cuddles, enrichment and outdoor adventures. At The Doodle Den, we create a calm and happy space where doodles can thrive, socialise and feel at home.

While doodles are our speciality and passion, we warmly welcome other small and medium breeds, who enjoy a simple gentle and social environment.

Our Prices

Our Secure mud free garden and cosy indoor spaces provide a home-away from home for your small to medium doggie. We offer a Hotel for boarding and Social Club for day care.

    • Full day up to 8 hours - £35

    • Extended day up to 12 hours - £40

  • If you’re looking for overnight care for your dog we’d love to help, this is £40 for up to 24 hours.

Doodle Playtime Paradise

Our secure, beautiful garden provides the perfect place for your doodle to play, explore and unwind. With mud free artificial grass, there’s plenty of room for zoomies, games and relaxed lounging in the sunshine.

For our more energetic guests, we’ve added a fun agility course, ideal for your clever and curious doodle who loves a challenge. Whether they’re hopping, weaving or simply having a playful runaround, it’s a great way to keep their minds and bodies active.

We also have some lounging spots in the sunshine for your doodle to enjoy the calm. It’s a safe, happy space designed for tail wags, new friendships and lots of outdoor fun.

The Doodle Den Spa

At The Doodle Den, we offer gentle mini grooming as part of our calm, caring environment - perfect for keeping your doodle fresh and comfortable between grooms. While grooming isn’t our main focus, we’ve created a setup to provide a refreshing bath, a tidy trim around the face and paws, ear care and a soothing dry-off with plenty of cuddles throughout.

This is all part of our boutique experience to help your dog look and feel their best while enjoying their stay with us.
